Terms & Conditions

The associated elevator contractor and/or maintenance provider shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: (any
associated costs for the following are not included in this quotation).

1. Measurement of cabs prior to drawing production.
2. Weighing cabs prior to commencement of any modernization (as required).
3. Adding weight to the car top (as required).
4. Adding weight to the counter weight (as required).
5. Removal, re-installation and adjustment of doors (as required).
6. Submit required documents and designs to relevant authorities (e.g., TSSA).
7. Ensuring that all associated weights are acceptable.
8. Scheduling for and completing all necessary testing and inspections with the proper authorities for the jurisdiction of installation.

Any purchaser acting as a general contractor is responsible for ensuring that paragraph 1 is completed at the general contractor’s sole expense.
This proposal may be withdrawn if not accepted within 30 days.

A PURCHASE ORDER NUMBER IS REQUIRED BEFORE WORK CAN COMMENCE.

Shipping Options; choose one:
1. ECR can arrange for shipping to a destination.
OR
2. I will arrange our own shipping, F.O.B. Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

This quote requires a 50% deposit on the issuance of a purchase order as some of the required material is custom and
specific. The remaining 50% of the total contract will be invoiced upon shipment, on a per cab basis.

WEIGHT SUBMISSIONS, WEIGHT & BALANCE CALCULATIONS, AND BALANCING ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE
PURCHASER. THE PURCHASER AGREES TO CONTRACT A QUALIFIED ELEVATOR CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE ALL
AFOREMENTIONED WORK AT THEIR OWN EXPENSE.
ALL PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY ECR WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF
THE FOREGOING, AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE PRICE(S) APPEARING ON AN ACCEPTED ORDER, SUCH PRICES(S)
WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY INCREASED BY AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE PRICE INCREASE(S) AND/OR
SURCHARGE(S) THAT MAY BE CLAIMED FROM OR CHARGED TO ECR BY ITS OWN SUPPLIER(S) AT ANY TIME
BETWEEN THE DATE ON WHICH THE PURCHASE ORDER IS ACCEPTED AND THE DATE OF DELIVERY OF THE
PRODUCT.
