Environmental Testing
Elevators are high-traffic areas, so it’s important that cab interiors and fixtures are made with quality materials and designed for long-term use. We conduct rigorous environmental testing over a range of temperature and humidity levels to assess the reliability and durability of our products and ensure code compliance.
Laminated Glass Testing
Laminated glass is a popular material for giving elevators a modern look, whether as a decorative feature (e.g. printed glass) or a key part of the design (e.g. panoramic cab). With in-house destructive testing, we test our laminated glass products to ensure they are safe and fully code compliant.
Destructive Testing
Elevator interiors take a lot of abuse over time, so we conduct destructive testing to assess the long-term durability of all the parts and components we manufacture. This testing helps us introduce new products to the market with confirmed quality and durability for long-term performance.
Steiner Tunnel Testing
Safety is a top priority for every product we develop. As part of our R&D process, we conduct Steinar tunnel testing to measure a material's tendency to propagate flame and emit smoke. This advanced testing technique is a North American standard for materials testing and is used in the selection of materials for interior construction.
